CLS will determine your financial eligibility for free or low-fee legal services and may then refer your case to MVL. If you are referred to MVL, we will contact you to inform you if we can provide legal assistance.
Unfortunately, MVL is not able to provide legal assistance to everyone who seeks help. This could be for various reasons, including but limited to the following:
· Your legal dispute is outside of our geographic service area, which includes Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, and Jefferson Counties.
· Your income and resources may exceed our financial eligibility guidelines.
· MVL offers assistance with a variety of case types but your case may be outside the scope of our practice areas.
· The demand for our help is huge, and despite our best efforts, we may not be able to find a lawyer to take your case. Eligible clients referred to MVL are assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.
