The Denver Lawyers’ Arts and Literature Contest
Get ready to ignite your creative spark! The Denver Lawyers’ Arts and Literature Contest is accepting submissions through Wednesday, April 30. The contest includes both writing and visual categories. All DBA members are eligible, except for members of the Docket Committee (who are the judges). Artists may enter previously unpublished work in multiple categories. Learn more.

A Primer on Advising Nonprofit Organizations and the 23rd Annual Institute on Advising Nonprofit Organizations—May 1–2

The 2014 Primer is designed to introduce practitioners to general aspects of the laws governing the formation and operation of nonprofit organizations. The 23rd Annual Institute will present a comprehensive analysis of legal issues of concern to nonprofit organizations. Seniors’ Spring Banquet—Tuesday, May 13
Honor the DBA members who have been admitted to the bar for 50 years at the DBA Seniors’ Spring Banquet on Tuesday, May 13. The banquet will be held at the University Club, 1673 Sherman St. Drinks begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m., and the presentation of honorees at 7 p.m. Cost to attend is $50 and all are invited. Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception—Thursday, June 26
