Holiday Hours for DBA and Courts
The Denver Bar Association and Colorado courts will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of New Year's Day.
Annual Awards Party-Save the Date and Call for DBA Awards Nominees
The DBA Annual Awards Party will be held on Tuesday, June 5, at the Sherman Street Event Center. Nominate someone by Tuesday, Jan. 31, to be honored at this event for one of the following awards: DBA Award of Merit, DBA Young Lawyer of the Year, DBA Volunteer of the Year, Judicial Excellence, and Teacher of the Year. You can submit a brief nominating statement online here or e-mail Heather Clark. The committee will consider involvement with the DBA, community contributions outside the bar associations, and career history and accomplishments.
CAN's Toothbrushes for Tots Drive, Feb. 6-10

Score a Mock Trial Round
The 2012 Mock Trial season is almost here. The DBA Regional Mock Trial Tournament is fast approaching and we need your expertise to score rounds. Teams are competing for a spot in the CBA High School State Championship Tournament. The Denver Regional Tournament is Feb. 9-10 at the Denver City and County Building. Colorado Supreme Court Recent Rule Changes
The Supreme Court recently approved changes to the rules concerning computation of time. The changes are significant and impact virtually all rules of procedure, with the majority of the changes effective Jan. 1, 2012.
