Complimentary and Secure Document Shredding and Electronics Recycling, June 10
Secure document shredding and electronics recycling from 4 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot east of the DBA offices. There is no cost for this event. However, a donation of $2 per box or electronic item is requested, with a limit of 10 boxes and five electronics. All donations go to Metro Volunteer Lawyers. DBA Member Appreciation Week is June 6–10
Register for CLE programs by e-mailing lunches@cobar.org or call 303-860-1115, ext. 727. All programs are available live and webcasted, and live programs include lunch or breakfast and are held at the CBA CLE offices on the third floor. Please state if you wish to attend the live or webcasted version of the program(s). These programs are complimentary to DBA members, $15 for CBA members who are not DBA members, and $35 for nonmembers.

The CBA Litigation Section presents this program as part of its Trial Litigation Series. Whether you are a seasoned litigator or a new attorney, this program is designed to give you the tools required to effectively present your witnesses and maintain control over adversarial witnesses during trial. DBA Bench and Bar CLE: What the Non-Workers’ Comp Lawyer Needs to Know About Workers Compensation Law, June 28
If you don’t want to wake up to an unexpected development in a client’s case, come find out what the non-workers’ comp lawyer needs to know about workers’ compensation law, from administrative law judge Craig Eley. The program will be held at noon in the CBA offices, 1900 Grant St., Suite 900, and the cost to attend is $15 for members, $10 for YLD members, and $20 for nonmembers. RSVP to lunches@cobar.org. Advanced HOA Issues: Communities in Distress, June 23
This program will tackle the key issues and challenges facing associations today, including a round-up of the latest legislation and case law; a guide to surviving (or, better yet, preventing) a lawsuit; a review of risks and costs in association insurance; an in-depth discussion about the consequences of stalled developments, and opportunities for associations to minimize exposure. Senior Law Day in Denver, July 23, at the Merchandise Mart
The Annual Senior Law Day is a community event supported by the CBA, CBA-CLE, the CBA Trust and Estate and Elder Law Sections, and several other organizations! The event in Denver will attract more than 1,000 seniors, adult children, and caregivers. Volunteers are needed for registration, directing guests, and other tasks.
