DBA YLD Annual Law Day Luncheon with Pamela Mackey, May 3
Pamela Mackey of Haddon, Morgan and Foreman P.C. will be speaking on The Legacy of John Adams from Boston to Guantanamo. The DBA YLD will also recognize the winners of the Law Day Essay Contest held for middle school students in the Denver Public School District at the luncheon. Complimentary Casemaker Seminar, May 17
Reba Nance will offer a one-hour Casemaker seminar at 9 a.m. on May 17 at the CBA CLE offices. The training will include searching for cases, federal and state libraries, statutes, and more. One CLE credit is offered for those who attend. A webcast also is available. RSVP to Lauren Eisenbach. Casemaker has recently announced that Casemaker Elite will be released within the next couple of months. Once available, training seminars specifically on Casemaker Elite will be announced; however, Casemaker 2.2 will continue to be accessible during the transition.

Two Great Family Law Programs! 2011 Spring Family Law Update, May 13 and Evidence Practicum for Family Lawyers, May 14
The Spring Update will include a review of: e-discovery issues, drug testing in parenting issues, and more advanced issues. The Evidence Practicum on May 14 will provide a workshop setting with an opportunity to practice the elements of courtroom evidence with an exciting, interactive mix of panel discussions, exercises, and lecture. The Denver and Colorado Bar Associations have set up a corporate team for the Denver Dumb Friends League’s annual Furry Scurry at Washington Park.
