*** CLE: Citizens United and SB 203: What’s in Store for Campaign Financing in Colorado’s Mid-Term Elections, Friday, July 9
In direct response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s controversial holding in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission earlier this year, the Colorado Legislature carried and Gov. Bill Ritter signed into law SB 203, which requires corporations and labor unions to register their election campaign donations with an independent agency, showing both the donor and the amount of the donation. With mid-term elections swinging into full gear, learn how this bill will be implemented by the Secretary of State’s Office, and what impact we can expect it to have on the 2010 elections and beyond.

The DBA Seniors Committee annual golf tournament is Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Homestead Golf Course, 11500 W.
