*** Second Judicial District accepting applications for vacancy — Deadline Aug. 23
The Second Judicial District Nominating Commission has a district judge vacancy, created by the retirement of Hon. J. Stephen Phillips, and is accepting applications until Friday, Aug. 6. The commission will meet Monday, Aug. 23, to interview and select nominees. To be eligible for appointment, the applicant must be a qualified elector of the Second Judicial District and must be admitted to the practice of law in Colorado for five years.
