May 1st is Law Day. INVOLVE YOUR COMMUNITY!!!
This 50th anniversary celebration of Law Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the Rule of Law and the important roles attorneys and judges play in the legal system. Law Day celebrations are grassroots events.

- Separation of Powers
- Judicial accountability
- Fair and impartial courts
- Transparency and public accessibility of laws and the legal process

Event activities are as varied as the communities in which you live. In past years, local bar associations have hosted different community events for Law Day such as:
- Essay Contests/Coloring Contests (School Programs)
- Mock Trials
- Community Breakfasts or Lunches with Local Leaders
- Senior Law Days
- “Law on the Mall”-- Free Legal Clinics
- Our Courts Program
