***OPPORTUNITY TO COACH HIGH SCHOOL MOCK TRIAL TEAM***
Interested in connecting with the community? Want to inspire future attorneys? Do you have fond memories of your own high school mock trial competitions? If you answered "Yes" to one or more of these questions, the DBA-YLD encourages you to sign up to coach a local Colorado high school mock trial team! The mock trial season begins in late October and goes through February, March or May, depending on how well the team performs. Too often schools are not able to compete because they lack attorney coaches, so please take this opportunity to make a difference by volunteering to be a coach. Do not let a lack of coaching experience discourage you. The CBA will offer FREE trial practice CLE's to the attorneys who sign up to coach a team! The first CLE will be on November 11, 2008 - details to follow. For more information, go to http://www.cobar.org/index.cfm/ID/20283/DPWFP/For-Attorney-Coaches/ or contact Carolyn Gravit, Director of Public Legal Education, at (303) 824-5323 or cgravit@cobar.org. Thank you for helping the future of our profession!
