***Winter Festival – THANK YOU!***
The DBA-YLD and Denver Department of Human Services thanks everyone who donated and volunteered to make Winter Festival a success! A record number of foster kids and their families attended this year's event on January 26 and enjoyed pizza, pop, cake, balloon artistry by Handy Andy and a magic show by Dennis Michael. Former Nuggets player Mark Randall also stopped by to see the kids! Each child received a large and small toy, a sporting good, book, stuffed animal and candy. We also raffled off tickets to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Imax, a scooter and various other fun items. Special thanks to the DBA/YLD Winter Festival Co-Chairs, Libby DeBlasio and Kelley A. Bergelt, for their tireless work on the project. We would also like to recognize the following law firms and businesses that donated to Winter Festival this year:
