*** Special Tuesdays at the Bar program on Sept. 27
Join us for this special 2-credit Tuesdays at the Bar program on Sept. 27, on the office program Time Matters. The program starts at noon and will last just over an hour and a half. This integrated program incorporates real-time office-wide calendars, task management, client relations management, project management, research management, and more. *** Tuesdays at the Bar CLE program set for Thursday. . . the first week in October
Because of the Rosh Hashanah holiday, the first week in October, the Tuesdays the Bar program, is now scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6. You won't want to miss this highly spirited debate on the Pros and Cons of Referenda C&D, featuring House Speaker, Andrew Romanoff and John Caldara, of the Independence Institute. *** Elder Financial Exploitation by People in Positions of Trust CLE program on Oct. 7

*** Help our DBA Executive Director, Chuck Turner, tomorrow, Sept. 21: Keep him from the donuts!
We will have donuts for all those who drive by the DBA offices and drop off a men's winter coat (sizes large and extra-large needed). Drive by our offices at 1900 Grant St., any time from 7:30 a.m to 9 a.m.,  Wednesday, Sept. 21. Coats are for the 15th Annual Homeless Veteran's Coat Drive; you can drop coats off anytime through Friday, on the 9th floor.  Please help this important cause and don't let Chuck eat all the donuts!  Contact Carolyn Ferber for more info at (303) 824-5323, or

*** Legal Aid Foundation Wine Tasting on Oct. 6
The Legal Aid Foundation's 12th Annual Wine and Beer Tasting is Oct. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Denver Athletic Club. The event includes hors d'oeuvres, live music and nearly 50 different wines supplied by Above the Rim Fine Wines. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. *** Tutoring for inner-city school children on Tuesday evenings
David Bost, Esq., seeks your help in tutoring young inner-city school children in reading, math and spelling at Dora Moore Elementary (Downing and 9th) on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. Each tutor will be assigned a child for the duration of the school year. The program begins in October; please call David Bost if you are interested in teaching and mentoring a deserving child at (303) 399-4900.

*** DBA Community Action Network Committee has partnered with the Children's Outreach Project
The Children's Outreach Project has provided diverse and integrated early childhood education to children in the North Metro Denver area for more than 30 years.
