***  Tonight!  Come to the ESPN Zone in Denver for a great cause!  (No need to RSVP!)
Join the CBA YLD for the 3rd Annual Beer Tasting Fundraiser, tonight, Aug. 2, at the ESPN Zone at 16th & Lawrence, in Denver. Show up anytime after 5 p.m., and relax, meet lawyers and other professionals in the community, and most important, sample beers from the area's finest breweries! There will be music, food, and a great silent auction. This event is $25 and benefits two very worthy nonprofit groups: Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Socially Conscious Coffee. Parking info: the ESPN Zone will validate parking for cars parked AFTER 5 p.m. in the Tabor Center garage. Access to the garage is on 15th & Lawrence and 16th & Larimer. Guests can have their parking stubs stamped at our host stand–validation is good for up to three hours. We'll see you there!

*** Congratulations to our very own TV critics
Christine Nierenz and Richard Strauss are the winners of the DBA "The Law Firm" TV show "critic's" review. Their funny and insightful comments were more entertaining than the actual TV reality show/drama that debuted last Thursday on NBC. The show pitted "real lawyers in real cases" with famous trial attorney, Roy Black, who judges their skills in the courtroom, and then decides each week who will get kicked off. From the reviews received, the show may be more a primer for what "not to do" in the legal world.  Congrats to the winners who will receive gift certificates to Barnes and Noble.
