***MARCH 22 – Effective Appellate Writing
Spend the lunch hour with Anthony Viorst and walk away with a “brief” case of ideas on how to improve your appellate writing style and skills. This program offers great tips and tricks on how to write effectively, and how to get the appellate court’s attention. Learn how to identify and use persuasive legal authorities, how to simplify complex arguments, and how to emphasize your good facts while downplaying your bad facts.

***MARCH 29 - Backing-Up: Cheap, Easy, Inexpensive Options
Brock Wood will show you software and hardware to make backing-up an easy proposition, instead of a painstaking one.  Your office staff can attend at the member price. 


***FEBRUARY 23 - DBA Young Lawyers Division Coffee Talk: Mechanics’ Liens...Your Chance to Learn and Ask Questions
Speaker Carrie A. Rodgers of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter. Rodgers has a vast background in mechanic’s lien claims and bond claims and co-authored the handbook, Colorado Construction Mechanic Lien Practice. In this interactive program, participants are encouraged to ask questions.
