The ACLU of Colorado is sponsoring its Liberty Run, Walk and Festival of Rights on July 4, 8 a.m., in Washington Park. 

*** Differentiate Your Firm
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association presents “Differentiate your law firm: Create a unique focus and position.” Attorney and consultant Ross Fishman will use more than 100 real-life examples to illustrate the value of differentiation in the legal industry. The event is Thursday, June 15, 5–6:30 p.m. at Holland & Hart, 555 17th St., Suite 3200.

*** Sensational News Stories and the Law
A screening of the documentary, “Breaking News,” is Thursday, June 22, 7 p.m., at the Tivoli Theater. According to its website: “‘Breaking News’ dramatically confronts one of the most pressing issues facing modern media — the constant pressure on television news organizations for ratings and money.” The film highlights the Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson cases. A celebrity bartending reception is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Denver Press Club.
