Make reservations for these programs by sending a check for $15, payable to the Denver Bar Association, to: Tuesdays at the Bar, DBA, 1900 Grant St., Ste. 900, Denver, CO 80203. A form to use is below. You may also RSVP by calling (303) 860-1115, ext. 727, or e-mailing lunches@cobar.org. Indicate the program you will be attending. All programs are at the DBA, third floor, at noon. Cost includes lunch and typically one CLE credit. (Coffee Talk is a morning program on the 9th floor, and includes a continental breakfast for $5.)

*** April 4: Thinking Strategies for Caregivers
If you are a lawyer with a client, client family member, loved one or firm member with Alzheimer’s, this program is for you. Kathleen Negri, elder law attorney, author and caregiver, will talk about strategies for working with people who are caretakers for individuals with Alzheimer’s. Learn techniques to manage the feelings and stress of caregiving. One general credit requested.
*** April 11: Transcribing Digital Recordings to Voice Recognition Software
David Cerullo will discuss the ins and outs of Digital Recorders and their integration with Voice Recognition Software. One general credit requested.
*** April 18: Legal Marketing: What Risks Are You Taking?
Cindy Fleischner will discuss the Colorado Supreme Court’s recent decision regarding the Colorado Consumer Protection Act and legal advertising. One ethics credit has been requested.
*** April 25: Collecting Fees Ethically
What can you do when you are not getting paid? Alexander Rothrock will explain the options, and the risks. One ethics credit requested.
*** Wednesday, April 26: DBA YLD Coffee Talk — CCIOA Update (Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act)
Discussion will include: the latest news on the CCIOA, the effect last year's legislation had on the laws, and a current legislative update. Join colleagues from 8 to 9 a.m. at 1900 Grant St., Ste. 900. The cost is only $5 for DBA members and $15 for non-members. Continental breakfast included. RSVP by sending a check to DBA Coffee Talk.
