*** Teach a Small Claims or Collections Clinic
The DBA is seeking volunteers to teach lunch-time Small Claims and/or Collections Pro Se Clinics for the public at the Denver County Court. These clinics are designed to help people file small claims and collection actions in court. They discuss alternatives to filing, the process of filing a small claim and how to prepare and present a case to the judge. These clinics offer legal information, not legal advice to the individual clients. Outline and training provided. Winter Festival will be Jan. 26, 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m., at the Denver Department of Human Services, 1200 Federal Blvd. This event provides gifts to Denver-area foster children, giving them an opportunity to celebrate the holidays.
