Environmental Law Section
The Environmental Law Section deals with legal and technical aspects of federal, state, and local environmental regulatory programs and related litigation. Topics include air and water quality and solid and hazardous waste issues, environmental remediation, toxic tort and citizen suits, environmental impact statements, endangered species problems, toxic and hazardous substances and environmental insurance. The section monitors statutes, regulations, and court opinions to keep its members informed of current and developing trends in environmental law and policy. Members of the section serve as editors for natural resources and environmental law articles in The Colorado Lawyer.
