Family Violence Program

This site promotes the efforts of the Colorado Bar Association's Family Violence Program and provides general information on issues of family violence (including child abuse, partner-to-partner abuse, and elder abuse) as well as resources for prevention and intervention of family violence.

The objectives of the Family Violence Program are to:

Educate attorneys.
Assist lawyers who are victims and perpetrators.
Increase access to the legal system for victims of family violence.
Monitor legislation.
Work to improve how cases involving family violence are handled by the system.
Implement pilot studies in the area of law and family violence.
