Colorado and Denver Bar to Host the Attorney General Debate—Monday, Oct. 6
Join the DBA, CBA, CWBA, APABA, GLBT, CHBA and Sam Cary Bar for a debate of the Attorney General candidates on Monday, Oct. 6 from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. at the CBA-CLE offices. Vying for the open seat is Republican Cynthia Coffman, Democrat Don Quick, and Libertarian David Williams. One general CLE credit has been applied for. A webcast option will be available. DBA Seniors to Roast Tom DeMarino—Tuesday, Oct. 7
The DBA Seniors Committee will roast Tom DeMarino on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the University Club. Cocktails begin at 5:15 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m., and the roast will follow. Cost to attend is $50. Wheels of Justice Appreciation Party—Thursday, Nov. 6
The Colorado and Denver Bar Association sponsored cycling team the Wheels of Justice Cycling, will host an appreciation party at the CBA offices on Thursday, Nov. 6 for riders and supporters. The complimentary event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The team, comprised of 271 riders, raised more than $365,000, making it the top fundraiser at the Courage Classic for the fifth year. Gathering of the Bench and Bar Conference—Oct. 1-3
The University of Colorado Law School is pleased to present the Gathering of the Bench and Bar Conference, a three-day conference hosted for lawyers and jurists from across the nation. The conference will be held October 1-3, in Boulder, and 14 general and 4 ethics CLE credits in Colorado have been requested. The conference brings together members of the judiciary, industry leaders, top practicing lawyers, and experts from academia to discuss some of the most important issues facing the legal profession.
