Richard George Lesko passed peacefully at age 84 on July 6. He was born on Feb. 10, 1928, in Munhall, Penn., to John F. Lesko and Mary Volecko.
Lesko married Carol-Marie Frank in Pittsburgh, Penn., on Aug. 22, 1952, and is survived by his wife and two children, Karen-Marie and Wendy-Lee, and granddaughter, Sage. Richard was loved by four older brothers, Edward, John, Eugene, and Theodore, and is survived by Ted. He was a great "Uncle Dick" to his nieces and nephews. Some of his dearest friends were skiers, bridge players, handball opponents and countless cronies at the coffee shops he visited for lively discussions and companionship.
Orphaned early in life, Lesko graduated from Hill School, became a Marine, and obtained a law degree from Georgetown University School of Law. During his career in the trust departments of Colorado State Bank and Trust and First Interstate Bank, he had the reputation as the most honest attorney in town.
