William Mathews was named vice president and general counsel (legal, regulatory & land) of American Midstream, a new Denver-based midstream natural gas company. Davis Graham & Stubbs announced that natural resources partner Constance L. Rogers was selected to serve as the Deputy Solicitor for Energy and Mineral Resources in the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Legal Resolution Center, a leading provider of mediation and arbitration services in the Rocky Mountain region, celebrated its 10th anniversary in December 2009. Geoffrey M. Williamson, an associate at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was named to the Colorado Cancer Research Program’s Board of Directors. CHANGES

Baker & Hostetler announced that Karin Scholz Jenson was elected to the partnership. Jenson?is a member of the litigation group and concentrates her practice in complex litigation. The firm also announced the addition of two associates in its Denver office: Jonathan F. Langer and Justin T. Winquist.
Davis Graham & Stubbs announced the selection of two new partners to the firm and the re-election of Chris Richardson to serve an additional two-year term as the firm’s managing partner. Jordan Lipp specializes in products liability and commercial litigation. R. Kirk Mueller practices commercial litigation and environmental law, and represents clients in the oil, gas, mining and energy industries in an array of regulatory, permitting, compliance and enforcement matters.
Roberts Levin Rosenberg named Jeremy Sitcoff a shareholder. Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons announced that Stephen E. Csajaghy was named partner with the firm. Csajaghy is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and arbitration. Bloom Murr & Accomazzo is pleased to announce that Maris S. Gruenstein, Ian T. Hicks, Neil A. Livingston and Jon D. Paul are now associates of the firm. Rich D’Ambrosio, formerly associate general counsel at Centura Health, joined Exempla St. Joseph Hospital as chief legal counsel.
Grund, Dagner & Nelson named David S. Werber and Douglas A. Stevens partners. Fairfield and Woods announced that Adrian Castro joined its litigation department as an associate. Castro joins the firm from New York, where he worked for White and Case representing clients on litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Collins Cockrel & Cole announced that Allison C. Ulmer joined the firm as an associate. She will practice in the areas of special districts, land use and development and real estate.
Patricia A. Fennelly was promoted to of counsel with Tucker Ellis & West. Fennelly is a member of the trial department and is part of the litigation group, focusing on product liability and employment defense work, as well as intellectual property and commercial cases. Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe named Kimberley H. Tyson director. Tyson’s practice focuses on bankruptcy, workouts and related commercial litigation. She will continue to work with secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck announced that Brad C. Farber and Joshua M. Hantman joined the firm as associates. Also, Martha F. Bauer, Jason R. Dunn and Kathryn R. Justin Prochnow, attorney at Greenberg Traurig, and Stacy Carpenter, attorney at Hensley Kim?& Holzer and?DBA President-Elect, announced the birth of their son Jackson Ivan Prochnow. He was born Dec. 19 at 8:18 p.m., and weighed 8 lbs., 5.5 oz and?was 20 3/4 inches long. Michael Bullock, attorney at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, and his wife Jeanette welcomed their son Cole Christopher Bullock to the world on Sept. 22. SAD NEWS Dan McGrew passed away on Dec. 27 at the age of 76. McGrew was a partner at the Montgomery Little & Soran for many years. He worked in the areas of tax and estate planning. He received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1970. Dan was a CPA before he was a lawyer and was an accountant for 12 years prior to going to law school.
