February 5: Federal Practice Update 2010. This program, with a focus on your federal practice, has been designed to give you the latest wisdom and insight from our distinguished faculty of judges, magistrate judges and federal attorneys. Walk away from this program better equipped to represent your clients in federal court.
February 17: Medical Marijuana. Taxing, permits, business models, leases, zoning… Legalization of medical marijuana has caused no shortage of legal questions. Our faculty will address all of these and the new medical marijuana bill. Don’t miss Robert J. Corry, Jr.’s presentation on "Leading the Way in Medical Cannabis Litigation."
February 19: The Judges Tell All. Want to know what the judges are thinking? Why not ask them? In this unique, half-day program, you will learn more about what the judges are thinking and looking for in their courtrooms than in any other program you’ve attended before. This is a unique opportunity to hear from three judicial panels: recently appointed judges, sitting judges and former judges who will address your most pressing questions, issues and concerns about succeeding and winning in the courtroom.
As always, this will be a great opportunity to interact and get to know numerous judges throughout the metro-Denver area in a relaxed, casual setting. April 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Warwick Hotel, 1776 Grant Street in Denver. We will apply for 4 hours of CLE credit, including ethics credits, and breakfast will be provided. $65 for nonmembers, $60 for members, $40 for support staff.
