Help Middle Schoolers — Teach About the Constitution

Be an active participant in National Constitution Day, Sept. 17. The DBA seeks volunteers to conduct an enjoyable and informational learning session on the Constitution at local Denver middle schools. Materials are provided to assist you, but we encourage fun and energetic lawyers to lead classroom discussions. You can make the discussion as broad or narrow as you would like or you can have creative discretion, with the goal to make your presentation as interesting and enjoyable as possible. If you are interested in participating in the program in a DPS middle school, please contact the Denver Bar Association Public Legal Education Department at (303) 860-1115, (800) 332-6736 or mseck@cobar.org.

Thank you and we look forward to your participation!

DBA Immediate Past President Elsa Martinez Tenreiro engages the students of a local middle school during last year’s Constitution Day on Sept. 12. Follow in her footsteps and volunteer to teach middle schoolers about the U.S. Constitution.
