On the Bar Tab  School Supply Drive
The Community Action Network’s School Supply Drive was a huge success. Volunteers distributed more than 300 backpacks to Denver Public School students experiencing homelessness at the Denver Zoo on Sunday, Aug. 12. Fifty-five law firms collected school supplies to help these students start their year off right. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the drive and volunteered their time.

National Constitution Week is Sept. 17–21. The CBA/DBA will be holding a training session on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., for attorneys who would like to visit classrooms and share their legal expertise. The training will cover information on how to engage students and how to work with teacher lesson plans. Participants will receive a variety of lesson plans and materials.
