Committees & Departments ![]() Wheels of Justice Training/Fundraising Update On Wednesday, April 19, the Colorado and Denver Bar Association’s cycling team, "The Wheels of Justice," held a kick-off party at Nine75. The celebration gave participants a chance to meet each other and the sponsors. The party also included free drinks and appetizers, cycling gear as give-away prizes, cycling and fundraising tips, and a presentation from Children’s Hospital. On Sunday, May 7, TWOJ braved the rigors of a 40-mile training ride through NW Denver and Golden, which included a 1,600-foot climb up Lookout Mountain and a screaming decent back down. TWOJ is training for the Courage Classic, July 22–24, a three day, 157-mile cycle tour through the Rockies, benefiting Children’s Hospital. Last year’s Courage Classic raised more than $1.6 million for the kids and doctors at Children’s. The team goal is to field 100 riders and raise $100,000 for this great cause. Thus far, 83 riders have joined TWOJ team and raised more than $44,500. To join the team or donate to a rider, visit http://www.couragetours.com/2006/team/wheelsofjustice.
