Seniors Holiday Party The Seniors Committee had its annual holiday party on Friday, Dec. 9 at the DBA offices. Photos clockwise from right. Law School for Journalists

The Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Judicial Department have teamed up to create “Law School for Journalists,” a series of classes designed to provide reporters with basic information about the legal system and the judiciary. The December class focused on eminent domain and January’s was on immigration. At left, attorneys Nancy Elkind and Jeff Joseph presented information at the immigration class. 

The classes are designed to provide information and give reporters insight into the legal issues they are covering, enabling them to more insightfully, accurately and easily write stories. These free 1.5 hour sessions will take place one morning a month at the Colorado Bar Association. Each session will focus on one primary area of the law.
