DBA YLD Coffee Talk — The Energy Policy Act of 2005
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 repealed the Public Utility Holding Company Act, which placed restrictions on acquisitions of utilities and energy companies. How will this repeal impact the ownership structure of energy companies, investment in such companies and
energy consumers? What are the key issues in FERC’s PUHCA repeal rulemaking? How will PUHCA repeal impact day to day energy regulation and transactions? What new regulatory structures, if any, are needed now that PUHCA has been repealed?
Join colleagues from 8 to 9 a.m. at 1900 Grant St., Suite 900. The cost is only $5 for DBA members and $15 for non-members. Continental breakfast included. RSVP by sending a check to DBA Coffee Talk.
