“Collateral Attack” wins 2004 DBA Football Championship
Led by quarterback Marc Walters, the team Collateral Attack (pictured left) won its second straight football league championship on Nov. 14 by defeating The BHF Bombers in overtime, 20-19. The DBA Lawyers’ Football League was created in 1968. Each year, the league’s champion is awarded the Madden Trophy, in tribute to the league’s founder John Madden III. The league plays its games beginning the first Sunday after Labor Day and concluding the second Sunday in November. Interested players and teams for the Fall 2005 season may contact the league Commissioner, Vic Stazzone at (303) 757-4971. The Docket generally announces the commencement of the football season in its July/August issue.
