DBA–CLE for Month

Music Law is Jan. 14. Tuition is $99 for students/music professionals; $139 for Gaming Entertainment & Sports Law Section members; $159 for DBA members; $189 for non-members. Six general CLE credits. This program covers topics such as: publishing in the digital age, the future of artist development and the framework of recording contracts, case law update, sampling, rights in record label and band names, and more!

Learn from the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office about the eNotarization project, requirements for electronic signatures, electronic recording and searching, and identity theft and fraud prevention.

Communications Law is Jan. 20 & 22. Tuition for both days is $159 for Communications Law Section members; $189 for DBA members; $229 for non-members. 14 general CLE credits. This two-day program will focus on the technologies and industry issues that are most important to your client and to you.

CWBA Mardi Gras!

Legal Support Staff Meeting

The Mile High Association of Legal Support Staff (MHALSS) meets the third Monday of every month at Park Place Auditorium, 1st and Washington. The Jan. 17 meeting features Peggy Montaño, who will present a CLE on water law. More Mock Trial Judges

The Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) Law Student’s Regional Mock Trial Competition is Feb. 11–13. Judges are needed for morning and afternoon shifts on Friday and Saturday, and the morning shift on Sunday. Call John Sadwith at (303) 831-1192.
