On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the DBA Awards Committee is beginning its search for Denver Bar Association and community members who deserve recognition. The committee needs suggestions from members so we can get the best possible selection of people to be honored by the DBA. Please nominate worthy people for the following awards:
Award of Merit
Recognizes outstanding contributions to the DBA and the profession:
Liberty Bell Award
Goes to a lawyer or non-lawyer for community service in an area that strengthened freedom under the law:
Volunteer Lawyer of the Year
Goes to a DBA member who has performed extraordinary voluntary legal or community service:
Legal Assistant of the Year
Recognizes a legal assistant who reflects the highest standards of professionalism:
Judicial Excellence
For outstanding work toward improving the judicial system:
We are also soliciting nominations for the David Brofman Award (media), the Peace Officer of the Year, and the Teacher of the Year. We welcome your input.
