The DBA YLD is cosponsoring a new project where lawyers and paralegals provide legal resource information about landlord/tenant, family, employment, traffic and immigration law. The clinic is at El Centro Bienestar San Jose, 623 Fox St. in Denver, on the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30-8 p.m. Call Suzanne Bruce at (303) 561-2397 for more information. The public takes information from greeters at "Law on the Mall" during Law Week. The DBA YLD sponsored the event, which gave members of the public the opportunity to gather free legal information and talk to attorneys.

Day in Court This half-day program, sponsored by the DBA YLD, will host experienced trial lawyers, who will give short demonstrations on basic civil trial techniques, followed by a three-judge panel. The program will be held at the Denver City and County Building, 1437 Bannock, on June 16 from 1:30-5 p.m. A happy hour will follow. 3.5 cle credits are pending. The cost of the program is $35. Celebration of Excellence

The Celebration of Excellence is a graduation ceremony and reception to honor Colorado foster children who have overcome tremendous odds to graduate from high school or obtain a GED.
