Seniors Golf Tournament
The Denver Bar Association Seniors Committee (for those 65 and better) will have its annual golf tournament on Wednesday, July 28, at the Homestead Golf Course, 11500 West Hampden Avenue. An informal lunch will be at noon with tee off at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $45, and includes green fees, cart, prizes and lunch. Legal Night at the Center Legal Night at the Center is May 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at El Centro Bienestar, in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood. Attorneys and paralegals provide legal information to the community about ethics, landlord/tenant and immigration issues. There is a need for bilingual (Spanish–speaking) attorneys to help out. Law on the Mall, May 3–11 A number of groups are helping out with this week-long event: Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, DBA Board of Trustees, Colorado Women’s Bar Association, DBA Young Lawyers Division, DBA Community Action Network Committee and the Paralegal Committee. Each day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., attorneys and paralegals will be at Writer’s Square on the 16th Street Mall offering information and materials to the public. It’s sponsored by the DBA Legal Services Committee.
