The Legal Aid Foundation thanks those who helped make their winetasting a success

Nearly 200 people attended the Legal Aid Foundation’s 9th Annual Wine and Beer Tasting Event on Thursday, Oct. 17. The event, which was held at the historic 1770 Sherman St. event center, raised several thousand dollars. We would like to thank everyone who participated.

Sponsors were: The Colorado Legal Directory, FirstBank, Ford Personnel, Legal Design, Hunter & Geist, Paralegal Resource Center, Strategic Staffing Associates, Wells Fargo and White & Jankowski, LLP. Keven Bernard, General Manager of County Line Liquor Super Store, coordinated the beverages. Amy Downs represented Baum Wine Imports; Chuck Willyard, CTS Distributing; Doug Caskey, Colorado Wine Industry; J.C. Hopson, Coors Brewing Co.; and Jessica Pantoja, Boulder Beer. Yellowstone Valley Brewing also participated.

Guests sampled delicious desserts, breads and hors d’oeuvres which were generously provided by Marlowe’s, Paramount Café, The Painted Bench, Pasquini’s Baking and Sweet Rockin’ Coffee.

The silent auction provided a wide variety of cultural and sporting events tickets, books, hotel stays and other unique gift items. Silent auction donors were:

The Colorado Legal Aid Foundation promotes equal access to justice by raising funds to provide civil legal services for low-income people in Colorado.
