Save the Date!

On Friday, July 18, the CBA Regional President’s Visit comes to Denver. The day includes a luncheon followed by an afternoon of CLE programs, which include: “Law Practice and Technology,” “All that Ethical Jazz” and “Practice Tips from the Bench.” The afternoon will be topped off with a lively round of the “Bench Bar Bowl,” with everyone’s favorite game show host—2003-04 CBA President Bob Truhlar. Barristers After Hours

The June Barristers After Hours, sponsored by the DBA YLD, will be held on June 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rock Bottom Brewery, 16th and Arapahoe. Two free drinks and free appetizers! Tuesdays at the Bar is Going E-mail

Tuesdays at the Bar is no longer sending out paper brochures in the mail! From now on, you’ll get an e-mail telling you about the great programs coming up. We’re off in July and August, but will resume programs in Spetember! Of about 7,200 members, there are 1,600 for whom we need an e-mail address. Like last year, the symposia will take the place of the traditional CBA annual convention and is presented through the cooperation of the Colorado Bar Association CLE. Run (Or Walk) Like the Wind!
At the Lawyers Have a Heart 5K Run

Invite your colleagues, friends and family to run the Denver Bar Association’s First Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5K. On June 7, run to benefit the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease and stroke. If running isn’t your thing, there is a walk starting five minutes after the race. You can also collect money for your firm’s team or volunteer to help organize the event! Participants can run, walk, or make up a team of three (one must be a woman), by registering at www.colhh.org.
