To thank the volunteers who have given their time and expertise to the Legal Night at the Center, the DBA YLD is hosting a free CLE, “Legal Night at the Center: Practical Tips for the Pro Bono Attorney,” on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 4-7 p.m. at 1900 Grant St., ninth floor (three general credits, including one ethics are anticipated). The DBA YLD offers this CLE free to those who volunteer AND to those who agree to volunteer at Legal Night once during the upcoming year. Legal Night is held the third Tuesday each month, from 5:30-8 p.m., when attorneys and paralegals provide legal information to the community. The CLE will provide some practical advice regarding pro bono services, ethics, landlord/tenant, and immigration issues.
